Very nice ambience. Rustic dining room, very pleasant atmosphere similar to a castle. Nice outside terrace. A delicious varied menu. From fish to meat dishes and also vegetarian dishes. Very tasty food. I will gladly come again.

Waited over half an hour for the waiter to come to take the order. Not a word of regret or apology. When asked about the time it takes to prepare the meal: I don't want to commit myself, it can take 45 minutes. Embarrassing and disappointing.

The cordon bleu was completely raw on the underside, but it was charged in full and only removed from the bill on request. The other dishes were rather average, the portions not very generous. The service was very friendly.

The communication service is still in need of improvement. You only find out afterwards that the e-mail traffic is not working. The food is good.

This restaurant ruined our holiday. For two weeks we booked a table for the wedding anniversary. My husband called today to ask for a better table and they told him that they could not serve us. And if he had not called? Would we come to a closed restaurant? If only some compensation for the spoiled mood and the day was offered! Nothing! Such an attitude towards customers is not acceptable! Plus they lied that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and the site has completely different information!

A lot of effort is put in here, but unfortunately the ambience and the friendly service do not cover the one star deduction due to the rather average food for the money. Here a little finesse and a few spices should be brought into play.

Good food, good service and fair prices. If you do not like the sumptuous dining room, you can use the beautiful outdoor area in summer. The Speißekarte could be a bit refreshed.

We celebrated our wedding at Villa Messmer in May. The loving care on the part of the family and their staff made this day perfect. Our wishes were implemented and we were with words and deeds to the side, even if there were changes. The food was just sensational and our guests loved it. Nice place around z.b. to marry

We were back for dinner after a few years. Unfortunately we were disappointed, the same food did not taste so good. Everything was much less spicy, tasted fatter, smaller portions. Quality good, very good service

See nicely decorated restaurant. Beer garden just as great. Nice service. Food very tasty. Choice good. 1st point deduction for the inflated prices. Is rather something for wealthier people from the price range ago.

The food is very nice, ambient and the service is also good; this justifies the above average prices. A place to go to for a special treat.
